RICOH signs development cooperation with ASUS to provide DaaS (Device as a Services) services

Ho Chi Minh, December 26, 2023 - RICOH Vietnam and ASUS Vietnam have signed a cooperation agreement to develop a sustainable business model - Device as a Service (DaaS), including business laptop rental service for the ASUS ExpertBook Series product line through RICOH's system. This is a milestone marking the mutual development relationship of the two sides, while providing the business community in Vietnam with products and services that help simplify and optimize operating costs.

Device as a Service (DaaS) is a support package that provides both management and provision of IT devices such as personal computers, smartphones, and mobile devices as a paid subscription, replacing the purchase of individual devices.

The Devices market is expected to experience significant growth, with revenue expected to reach USD 6 billion by 2023. According to IDC, spending on DaaS in Vietnam is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 25% from 2022 to 2027.
